The main community that supports SMF software (like used on this forum) was hacked on 07/20/2013. The ADMIN password was found on another site, then accessed on the SMF forum and all user names/passwords and probably personal messages posted on that site were accessed looking for user names/passwords.

Samisite SMF forum installation has NOT been accessed, and is not in danger. I use different passwords on forums, websites, admin, etc so even if they got my username and password on that forum, it will not affect this site.
But if anyone that visits this site HAS used their same password on another site at some time, please consider updating your password for your own security. Good practice to update on regular basis. :yes:
