Hello to all new and "old" faces - I finally made it here, but have no time to really post anything... I'm pulling double duty at my day job until a new receptionist gets hired, and obsessing over my faux databases when I'm home. Have even been ignoring my main site - very bad. But glad to see everyone here.

Hi,
I'm Mark!
I've been to Sami's site many times over the years and you have helped me recently with my flash problem with Firefox vs. IE. I appreciate the help. I plan to visit regularly. One of the things I'll be looking at is other programs besides Cutesite. At some point, I'll need to change, I just don't know what that would be or when.
Thanks,
Mark Bottemiller

Of course there is no need to change from CSB unless you want to.
Hope to see you around a lot.  :)

Hi Mark. :hiya: Nice to have you aboard!

Check out the FLASH FIX that I posted under the graphics area.  Anyone inserting flash should add that code to their pages for best performance.

I second Turtle.  No reason to switch away from CSB unless you WANT to.  We will still be supporting (and using) CSB for quite a while yet.

Hi Samantha..
Thank you for the new 'CSB' support forum & the 'replacement' software comparison..
I remain committed to CSB and will continue to develop new CSB sites. At the same time business considerations require a new tool as well. I have been working with W3B though the jury is out. I am pleased to see it included.

Let me pause a minute and personally thank you for the help you have provided to me over the years.. I go back to pre-CSB Trellix.
My experience multiplied by the number of other folks you have helped is an incalculable measure.. You are truly a treasure.
:clapping:

So let's ring the bell in celebration of the new forum & get on to business..
1) Should I leave the CSB forum behind and post here henceforth?
2) Will your list of sample sites include other than CSB developed? If so I have a W3B being built & would appreciate comments.. http://joyfullycurly.com/

:hearts:   Thank you for the kind words!  :-[  You are very welcome!

Though this forum has my name and is hosted on my site, it is a community effort!
The assistance comes from other users and depends on the interactions of MANY members not just me.

1) Should I leave the CSB forum behind and post here henceforth?
The main CSB forum is still at GlobalSCAPE.  We are still answering questions there and hope that forum continues to support the CSB product, even past the June 2007 date originally mentioned by them.  But having said that, if you post CSB questions here (in the CSB sections that match the GS forums) we will certainly assist!

Quote
2) Will your list of sample sites include other than CSB developed? If so I have a W3B being built & would appreciate comments.
My sample sites page is still a CSB website list. I may make additional lists as time goes on...dunno.  As to getting critiques on your new site, start a new thread under the the type of program and see who responds.  :)

Lots of us feel that way. CSB has made the journey fun. The program is easy and quick, with very little stress.  The people that use Trellix and CSB have been friendly and warm over the years.  I have used it to build serious and silly sites...and all the while, enjoyed the ride.

I hope to continue using this forum to exchange tips, tricks, and ideas with regard to CSB 5.0.
Excellent!  Please jump in anytime to start a topic, or assist someone else!

Glad to have you both aboard!  :hiya:

We come from a nice clean forums at GlobalSCAPE (and Trellix Cafe before that) and prefer a FAMILY environment and WELCOME others with similar preference.

Lots of support forums get snotty and snippy with newbies or novice users.  We try to keep that to a minimum and try to build our communications on supporting and encouraging others. Everyone has issues to work out.  No question is dumb...they all deserve consideration. And believe it or not, even advanced users (our experts) learn from people that are still learning!

We ENCOURAGE interaction...we LOVE it when people jump in and help others!!!
In trying to help others, our own skills have grown.
It's GREAT to have MANY people's voices.  And usually there is more than one way to solve a question so having more than one answer gives options and often causes new challenges.

Hello everyone... Glad to be on board the community forum.  My name is Ken aka Bighousedaddy.  I've worked with trellix 3.0 and then move up the version list to CSB5.

I have built many different sites with CSB... http://www.bighousedaddy.com , http://www.bighousedaddy.com/yoursoulsjourney.htm , http://www.leviteinfo.com
All the graphics was created with PSP6... which is another program we should all have.

I'm glad to be here...

Hi there, my name is Sharon Anne. I use CSB vs.5 (user since Trellix); I know just enough (which isn't a whole lot) to be dangerous. I have a cooking site, which I've maintained for years and a Yahoo ShareAlikeCooking Group with 375+ delightful members. I've enjoyed Sami's site and the different forums for several years ; I am so grateful for all the valuable info. Thank you Sami, so much, for your kindness and devotion to us.

Warmly,
Sharon Anne
