image with transparency not displaying correctly
« on: March 25, 2012, 01:25:41 PM »
I added a png image (shown as 'next' on the website) to my website. The image had a transparent background. However, I didn't see this transparent effect when I loaded the image into the webpage. I saw you did a good job on this for your website. Your help will be highly appreciated! Here's the link: h**p://theinternetmarketingwebsites.com/

You must store the "transparent" information in the image when you save it.
This is done different ways depending on the image editing software.

I have an old demo on this here: http://www.samisite.com/photo/id35.htm showing the image must be in the transparent state when you export/save the file.

If you defined the transparent color but then did not make the image transparent before saving you will not get a transparent png or gif image.
