Survey in your site
« on: June 08, 2012, 04:39:36 AM »
Sami, is there any easy way to insert a survey in CSB 4?

Say you insert a list or catalog to let visitors to choose the item they would most like   ???

Thanks

Sure.  You can make a lovely survey using a free form software.

1) If you want to gather data but not show results to your visitors, you can use a script that I use on my iframe webpage.  I have one set on this page:  scroll down to STATIC "FRAME5" -  TEST FORM (survey)   http://www.samisite.com/test-csb2nf/id43.htm

This is the script I am using.  Also use this script for a couple forms on my site:
http://www.formmail-maker.com/formmail-maker-home.php

If you want a nice interface to build your forms and no coding:
h**p://kwiksurveys.com/   this is totally free.
h**p://freeonlinesurveys.com/support/    has a free limited version.

2) You can make polls that show immediate results on your site after survey is completed.
Use an iframe to hold your form and results:    Free services have limitations on questions, answers, display, etc
h**p://pollcode.com/faq.html    totally free, build at their site, get a piece of code to put on your page.
h**p://www.addpoll.com/   Free version available.

IMPLEMENTATION:
If you need instruction to implement let me know.
Basically you build the form/poll/survey then get the HTML code.
You can place that code into a web page and load that into an iframe.
The result would appear where the poll was.
