Variety
Jim Nabors often appeared on the Carol Burnett Show, considered to be a classic "Variety Show".
Rick, I gathered my files from several sites, and sadly, many are no longer online.
I will check which still exist.
So glad I downloaded a bunch when I did.
I could UPLOAD mp3 or zipped files to a folder for you on Samisite or AWW space. I think I have the external drive here.... I really enjoy Vincent Price pieces, his voice is quite entertaining.
One of my FAVORITE sites is still online!
OTRR (Researcher group) tracks down and certifies the programs.
They have a 10GB per MONTH limit that is strictly enforced. Check the certified series here:
http://www.otrr.org/releases/links_current_by_title.phpthe SAINT is missing many episodes so it isn't on that list.
OTRR provides individual MP3 file links here:
http://otrrlibrary.org/s.html"The OTRR Library has more than 85,000 individual episodes from nearly 2,000 series for you to download. The OTRR Library is updated on a regular basis, with new series, new episodes, or better encodes. "
Another site I liked alot is gone, but they became a community where people discuss OTR, old movies, old tv programs, actors, etc. Used to be open to any, now by invitation only. Would you like an invitation? I became a member in 2010. The site is TIMES PAST
http://timespast.ning.com/A favorite site I used to visit has gone on and offline a few times. They have taken content down, then back up. One PAID site was trying to force them to fold, saying they were interferring with the PAID OTR service by offering the files for free. The free site said that the PAID site had not legal right to lock out hundreds of radio shows from listeners and require a subscription since the shows were not copyrighted, or "owned" by the PAID site. Unfortunately the PAID site had more MONEY to fight the battle.
