Shut Up!

I hate noise, especially people in a bus or other public place who talk non-stop.

(oficina de correos)

You could not go to our small post office
It is so noisy with people speaking loudly all together that the director often asks everybody to shut up
(can you imaging a bunch of Italians speaking loudly at the same time in a small room?...)   :v8slap:

Yes... it happens here too.... and if one person talks louder it causes a chain reaction. Everyone talks louder, then someone else tries to talk above the sound it goes up again!   rofl >:( :banghead:

pain

Can plants feel pain? Some vegetarians say they only eat vegetables because they don't accept killing animals. But they don't mind chopping the head off a carrot. How do they know the carrot doesn't feel pain? Just be we humans didn't yet discover how plants feel pain, doesn't mean they don't feel pain.

Am I too controversial? Haha

life

(vida)

I'm with you Rick, not for anything scientists say that if they find some form of life on another planet, even a small plant, it will means that there is life

 :offtopic:
"it will mean" or "it will means"? I found both on web texts...

Example written by the same author on the same text:

"For liberals, it will mean they will rounded up at gun point and forced to invest in the free market.
For republicans it will means, the right to access to a free market will be guaranteed by allowing anyone to shoot at union bosses, socialists and health care providers who prescribe unnessary treatments. "

They say that Mount Avila are the Caracas lungs.
It also protects the city against natural phenomenon; in fact, we have never had a tornado, typhoon, hurricane, etc... only some heavy rain once in a while and an earthquake every bunch of years.
Is never cold, never too hot, everything you want to visit is within a car reach; deserts, jungles, beaches, rivers, snowy mountains, flats…
Sorry that humans have lead this wonderful city to a complete degrade.

The Australian aborigines had no writing or any documentation of their history. Everything was passed down through the generations for more than 40,000 years, by "dreamtime" stories by the elders to the young generations.
