No, I have not seen that show. But if it intends to truly be a meditation, then I am all for it!
In the county where my mother lives, they require any small claims lawsuits to first go through mediation. None of the judges will hear the case until the mediators have tried to settle. My mother volunteers one day a week to do this job, and has done it for 8-9 years. She gets a lot of people to resolve. Saves a LOT of money and drag on the court system! And usually the parties are more satisfied than with a judge's verdict which often is one-sided.
