Welcome to the forum!
What you can do with your csb built pages is limited.
- NO PROGRAM can read or import your tlx design file. Proprietary format that no one else has the rights to use.
- Publishing your pages without frames (as a SOLID page, all scrolls together as one unit): This type page generates a single html file, even if you used borders to create your web page. The html file can be brought into ANY html EDITOR. In other words, any program that allows you to edit the actual coding of the web pages. I successfully brought this type page into Mcrosoft's Expression Web and edited then re published it!
- FRAMES: Pages published in CSB with FRAMES (each border acts independently from the page center) actually create multiple HTML files for a single page. CSB is the BEST program I have seen for the generation of FRAMED pages and no other program will successfully edit the FRAMED pages that CSB creates. CSB puts code for each border into its own HTML page, then makes a master page that ALSO has ALL THE CODE from every border. Pages published in FRAMES with CSB should be converted to NON-FRAMED before trying to edit them with other programs.
- Programs like CSB that allow you to work only in content, not the web page code itself are called HTML GENERATORS. These programs do the coding work for you. You can not bring CSB built pages AS IS into another HTML GENERATOR program because they do not read code, they write code.
CoffeeCup has several pieces of software.
If you are referring to the HTML editor, then YES, non-framed pages can be edited (the code) directly in that program.
Unfortunately, if you want to not have to edit the CODE like in CSB, MOST OF THE TIME YOU WILL HAVE TO COPY PASTE CONTENT from one program to the other.
