Thank you very much Sami, those sites linked were really useful. They are indeed EXPERTS.
Yesterday, I spent the whole day running all the procedures suggested. Now, having no had the expected results, I will post the logs results on their forum to see if they can give me some solutions.

Another thing that I discovered after running the cleaners, was that my copy of Windows seems to be not genuine... :(
I'm getting a warning on the lower right of the screen. Unfortunately, the shop where I bought my PC has closed more than a year ago  :verysad:

The PC still working at slow motion and the old hangs-up still occurring two or three times a day... :'(
I will travel next week, so I'm kind of busy to manage this situation right now, even though, I think that there wont be too many solutions to choose from.

I've seen that Windows message that showed it was not genuine. I knew it was incorrect, so all I did was re-run the Windows update (from Ctrl panel) and it re-verified itself. Then I re-ran the a full anti-virus scan and waited for it to complete and it solved the problem.

Windows update (from Ctrl panel)

Hi Ed, could you please explain it to me? I couldn't find how to do it from Control Panel...  :-\

Hi Tony,

Open the Control Panel. On the left (depending on version and the view) there is a Windows update link. Click it to run the update. There could be questions to answer and you may have to restart Windows. Hope it solves your problem.

No....  :(

But I found a temporary solution on the net, at least to remove windows warnings.  ;)
I'll do something about it when I return from my trip.
Now, as a result of the malware check/removal, the msconfig file is missing...
I posted it in Major Geeks forum, hope to have some solution

(I could post the Major Geeks's discussion link if you want to follow it. Looks very interesting)

Hi,
Cobian Backup is a backup software free for personal use, which supports local and remote backups. The software is altering the developer of the properties on a regular basis.
Some key features include a full backup, discrepancy and incremental backups, file firmness, counting the popular 7-zip, plus a strong cryptographic protection

Oops. Banned him and added his site to the zap list.  Even if he signs up again links to his site will say zap.  But forgot to clean them out.  Thanks!
