how can I save my host settings?

There are two basic ways to do this: either copy or print-screen the existing publish settings; or, export and then import the relevant Windows Registry settings.
You can find detailed instructions for both these methods at

Yup. Those instructions for
exporting the hosts
were written by our own Turtle!
Saves time and really makes the upgrade less painful.
