Upload Site
« on: December 23, 2009, 03:03:40 PM »
I am developing a website where my client wants to have a link which allows his customers to upload their artwork which he will then download to use in making signs for them. Due to the need for high-resolution artwork, the files could be large.

I could set up an FTP system for him, but wondering if anyone has experience using sites such as YouSendIt dot com?

Yep.  I have used a couple services that worked very well.  Was very pleased.

Any you could recommend? I am thinking of using sendthisfile dot com, which seems to offer what I need at a reasonable price. Anyone have experience of this provider?

I prefer to use this kind of service, as FTP seems to confuse a lot of people. This approach does not need any software at the customer end, and also will appear a more professional approach, as the upload "box" can be customised and integrated into the website.
