(Yes Prime Minister is absolutely one of the best ever British comedies. It is the kind of program you can watch many times. My other favourite is Hello Hello, about a French cafe owner/French resistance member during WWII)

(Hello Hello sounds so familiar... Might have seen it a while ago. I like The Vicar of Dibley and one I used to watch Mother and Son and As Time Goes By when they were available. Our public stations have run Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances for years and have seen almost every episode multiple times.)

(Tony, a jib is the smaller triangular sail forward of the main sail/mast on a sailing boat. Sometimes also called a headsail on larger sailing vessels.)

Thanks Rick, sorry for my lack of English, I found same explanation on dic.com, but the problem is that I don't know what does "sail forward" mean/is...

Tony.... go to this site:   h**p://www.boatnorth.com/sailing/index.html
I found simple images that should help you understand.
1st image: shows just the main sail.  The mast is the tall pole in the middle.
2nd image: shows both the main sail and the jib.  The Jib is the smaller triangle in the front of the boat.  In this image, the jib is shown on the right.

Quote
sail forward of the main sail/mast
Means that the small JIB sail is in front of the mast (tall pole in center) like shown in 2nd image.

Don't know anything about sailing/boats but am good about finding things.   ;)

PILLS!

My doctor loves pills!  Even have to take prescription mega doses of vitamin D several times a week for a month. Can't get out of there without some sort of temporary pill assignment!  But at least that's better than a doctor that likes shots.

Yes our public stations have run the Dr Who series since the 1970's.    I watched a season of the latest version of DW on SYFY (when it was still SciFi channel) a couple years ago.

Spreading

(lots of H1N1 Swine flu in the Florida area....and spreading)

Dr Who has been around for decades. There are many people that LOVE this silly science fiction program. I don't. Early episodes look like they were made with a $10 budget in someone's garage.

Quote
As of July 2008, the revived series has been, or is currently, broadcast weekly in 42 countries, including: Argentina (People+Arts), Australia (ABC1), Austria (Pro 7), Belgium (Één), Brazil (People+Arts), Canada (CBC (in English) and Ztélé (in French)), Catalonia (TV3 and BBC Entertainment), Croatia (Croatian Radiotelevision), Denmark (Danmarks Radio), Finland (TV2), France (France 4), Germany (Pro 7 and Sci Fi Channel), Hong Kong (ATV World and BBC Entertainment), Hungary (RTL Klub-owned COOL TV), Iceland (RÚV), Ireland (TV3), Israel (yes stars Action, AXN and BBC Prime), Italy (Jimmy), Japan (NHK BS2), Malaysia (Astro Network), the Netherlands (NED 3), New Zealand (Prime TV), Norway (NRK), Poland (TVP1), Portugal (People+Arts, SIC Radical), Romania (TVR), Russia (STS TV), Serbia (B92), Slovenia (RTV Slovenia), Spain (People+Arts [first run], Sci Fi Channel [second run, new dubbing]), Latin America (People+Arts), South Korea (KBS2 (dubbed in Korean) and Fox (subtitled in Korean)), Sweden (SVT), Switzerland (Pro 7), Thailand (Channel 7), Turkey (Cine5 and CNBC-e), the United States (Syfy) [first run], public television [second run] and BBC America [second run]), Greece (Skai TV), Style UK (part of Showtime Arabia) for the Middle East, North Africa and the Levant territories. Doctor Who is one of the five top grossing titles for BBC Worldwide, the BBC's commercial arm. From h**p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr_who

foreclosure   :'(

SO MANY homes in foreclosure, or about to be here in Florida.  So sad.  And people are ripping the homes apart (toilets, windows, door handles, anything they can take and selling the pieces.  When the homes finally are taken over by the banks, they are nothing but shell.
