I don't know if you all can help but here goes ?
I created a spinning air logo in coffee cup and when previewed in coffee cup it spins faster than the same file placed on my website.
To publish my site I use CSB5 publish program
h**p://www.arthurhewett.info/  This is my site which is slower that my gif in coffee cup.
I'm not sure I can put the coffee cup file here but here goes a try http://, well it didn't not work.
Can someone offer a suggestion where I can have the same rotation speed as in my coffee cup file?
Thanks
Arthur

I opened your aniGif.gif and it is speedy. And there is nothing wrong with it.

Can only make one suggestion for you. May or may not work.  May be a limitation of the browser.
Upload the graphic directly to your site and put it in the same directory as your website.
Then put an INSERT HTML in the page where you want the gif.
Use the gif image as the place holder.
Put this code into your INSERT HTML box:
Code: [Select]
<IMG SRC="nameofyourgraphic.gif" border="0" align="bottom" width="96" height="80" ALT="your description is here!!!" TITLE="your description is here!!!">Edit the code so it has YOUR information in it.
Republish your page.  See if that helps.

If not, you should use flash for something that fast.

Sam, I use the CSB5 Publisher and haven't used a FTP for several years.
I took a course several years ago using the html & FTP but because of CSB5 I have never found a need.

2 questions:
1.Can I upload as you mentioned using CSB5 Publisher ?
2. Can I use the FTP and go to the directory created by CSB5 ?

Thanks
Arthur H

I couldn't find where to delete my last reply but I dusted off the old FTP & will try the suggestion.
Thanks

Most hosts offer a way to upload a file or two inside the control or admin panel.
Or inside a directory listing there is often a choice for upload a file.

If not, might I suggest to you a FREE FTP program?  Core FTP Lite  will do everything you need, and more.

And check out this page for some FTP information that may assist.

I go into more detail on this thread, what FTP does and what settings you need. CSB specific stuff is towards the bottom of the page.  Some people try to make them sound complicated, but in reality, the functions you need are very very easy to learn.

1) Set up a host in CSB (user name, password, address of website)
2) Connect to that site
3) Find your website files (they might be in a folder called public, public_html, www, web, or directly on the host) on one side of the screen. Your files on your computer in the other screen.
4) Drag the file from your computer to your website.  :)
